Citadel of the Sun in Jodhpur
Located in the Sun City Jodhpur, Mehrangarh boast for being one of the biggest and largest forts in India. It was built by Rao Jodha in 1495. Fort & its Curse
The fort is cursed by a hermit Cheeria Nathji who used to meditate on the hill upon which the fort is built. Unhappy with his removal from the place, Cheeria Nathji cursed the fort to suffer from scarcity of water!

One of the features of the Mehrangarh Fort is that it is located at four hundred and ten feet above the city and it overlooks whole Jodhpur city. From the fort one can get a perfect view of the beautiful Blue City Jodhpur.
